Anakie State School believes in developing the potential of each student within our school. We aim to promote and develop that capacity within an environment of care and support, through a range of opportunities within the broad educational program.
My staff and I are committed to the vision of The Department of Education which is to prepare Queensland students with the knowledge, skills and confidence to participate successfully in the economy and broader community. We are proud to be part of a strong public education system, which believes that in every school, every day, every student is succeeding.
At Anakie State School we take pride in the tradition and reputation of the school for pursuing the highest standards in behaviour of our students and in the academic program. Students are proud to wear their school uniform which is well recognised in the community and provides children with a sense of belonging and pride.
Our school motto: A Sound Mind in a Sound Body plays an important part in fostering the well-being and personal development of each student as we work alongside our parents to prepare our youth for the challenges and opportunities the future will provide.
