Year 4/5 PDF Print E-mail
Year 4/5 has Ms Sheila McMillan, the teaching principal as their class teacher. She is supported by Mrs Silvia Hoare who is responsible for learning experiences in Measurement and Spatial Knowledge in Mathematics.
The class spent Term One investigating the Gold Rushes and the affects they had on the population of the early colonies. This learning experience culminated with an excursion to nearby Clermont, which was founded on the discovery of gold.
Throughout Term Two the students have been investigating Plants in Action. There have been opportunities to observe different plants developing. The class currently has a crop of broad beans growing in the school vegetable patch. This is a fully fenced area which serves to keep out the rabbits.
