Anakie State School

Anakie State School believes in developing the potential of each person. We aim to promote and develop that capacity within an environment of care and support and through a range of opportunities within the broad educational program.

My staff and I are committed to the vision for Education Queensland, which is for all Queensland students to become active citizens in a learning society. We are proud to be part of a strong public education system, which believes the purpose of education is to meet the needs of different students for high levels of educational attainment. In all activities aimed at fulfilling this proposal, we ask ourselves three key questions:

	Is what I am doing promoting the best interests of students?
	Is this the very best I can do?
	Am I prepared to accept personal accountability for this?

At Anakie State School we take pride in the tradition and reputation of the school for pursuing the highest standards in behaviour of the students and in the academic program. Students are proud to wear their school uniform which is well recognised in the community and provides children with a sense of belonging. Our school motto A Sound Mind in a Sound Body plays an important part in fostering the well-being and personal development of each student as we work alongside our parents to prepare our youth for the challenges of the future. Indeed we all look forward with excitement to creating futures.
